Hi Everyone....sorry I haven't been around to your site's lately, it has been crazy around here. My husband had a pretty bad time during our trip to Australia, he had injured himself at work a couple of days before we left. Well, his job got concerned last Thursday and finally filled out an accident report and sent him to their doctor. Needless to say he was told to stay at home for 2 weeks and do nothing. Well of course you know men! That is exactly what he is doing....nothing
So he is home and he is constantly wanting this and that and everything else. Needless to say I haven't had a minute to myself. He goes back to the doctor tomorrow, they will do a CT scan and then decide what the next step is.
I don't know if I've said before but I work for Bank of America in the technology end of the business. It is pretty depressing these days, people are being laid off every day. Good people too, with lots of knowledge and expertise, don't know what we are going to do with all this knowledge base gone. Anyway, it is pretty depressing at work as well, and around the holidays too...couldn't they do it at a better time? I know..they want the folks off the books before the beginning of the new year. Yeah, yeah....
I'll get around to everyone's site really soon, sorry for the delay.

Awww, Susie, that's to bad. I think that the US gov't decided that California did qualify for additional gov't support & unemployment will be extended for those still unemployed. I called & I may be able to get an additional 5 weeks. It's better than nothing & I was getting almost $500./wk.
So sorry that Joe is still feeling bad. Give him a (((hug))) for me, please. I am spending a lot of time doing the genealogy thing again. I need info on the Rubio side but I will e-mail you. Do you think if I e-mail Virginia she would be able to respond, or would respond? I hate to bother her, since we aren't in touch. Anthony is still calling about every other week for Ryan.
Did I tell you your site is so cute!! I really love it. well, take care & will talk with you soon. Love ya!!
I'm really sorry about your hubby and boy do I understand about the doing nothing part!! They are all alike in that aspect it seems!
I'm sorry about your work too. I can imagine how depressing that must be for you. I hate to see things like that happen. I worked for a corporation before the job I have now and saw a lot of that happening and I'm glad I don't have to now.
Okay, I know I shouldn't tell ... but YOU PICKED MINE!! That is, on Xanga Survivor!! How cool is that? Very, I'd say! Anyway, it really put a great big smile on my face when I saw that YOU chose my poem! Thank you.
(((((((((((Susie)))))))))) That's ok doll.. I know it's hard when hubby is at home. ( I have that everyday) hehehe..
Yes I imagine it's terrible at work for you right now. How sad... and just before the Holidays...
Take care doll and keep in touch. Xanga's been quiet lately and it might be due to Holidays and shopping. But I'm thinking of you...
sorry hope he gets better soon.
Hope hubby feels better soon. ~hugs~
Too bad about the hubby. I hope he gets better quick, for your sake.
Like the new look on your site. Sorry your husband got hurt, but I know how irritating it can be when they lie around and do nothing.
couldn't they do it at a better time? I know..they seem to be unconcerned about peoples lives
I will say a prayer for you and your family! I know all too well about those back problems!
Be blessed!
Tina
Its ok ((((Susie)))) I've been slackin as well!!
I hope hubby's ok!!
Hi there just came across your site on accident and I cannot believe how much we have in common. We too just took a trip to Australia and loved every minute of it. We have friends there (Melbourn) and we stayed for three weeks. We had the best time in June and we liked it so much we even thought of moving there. I returned to Australia on my own again in September to visit again but more for a business trip then pleausre .. though it was great to see my friends again. We have since put off moving for the time being for reasons I wont bore you with but I just wanted to say hello and sub to your site. THe pics of your trip are beautiful and I agree.. they just dont do that country justice do they?
Are you planning on going back again? I am for sure.
Anways.. glad to find you and look forward to reading more of your posts.
Oh ya.. if you want to see some photos from our trip they are posted on my site .. you'll have to surf way back to June and September but they are there. Thanks again for sharing your pics .. I loved looking at them.
Take care
Kymber
