  • Did anyone brave the crowds on Friday and go out the day after Thanksgiving to find any of those advertised deals for Christmas?  I had to work, but the floor that I am on only had 4 people there (normally there are about 75 to 100).  So...the 4 of us played hooky and went to the movies for the first showing of Solaris.  I will not jade your opinion of what we thought of the movie, but just as a side note I would not go again!  The best part of the whole movie was seeing George Clooney's booty (and pecks).

The weather around here has been lousy, overcast nasty days, where you almost can't see in front of you.  I just wished it would rain, at least it would be doing some good versus just making everyone feel miserable.

I am going to brave the crowds today and hit Costco or Sam's Club not sure which yet.  I usually try not to do that on the weekends because it is so crazy here.  Way to many people trying to get shopping done but the need for some staples such as milk and bread has arisen and since it is so much cheaper there I will go.

Hope everyone who had a long 4 day weekend is enjoying themselves!

  • I really want to go see Solaris too for the umm.... storyline You should come back to Australia. The weather here is lovely! Not too hot, not too cold. Nice beach weather

  • We went out on Saturday, but stayed buried in the house on Friday.

  • I was out of town over the holidays. Barry's parents live in a small town, and it was just as bad getting out because they have very little to choose from to shop so everyone was at the same place!

  • We had a wonderful time. I'm just now catching up with everyone. Hugs!

  • We've  had some pretty cold temps here, and some snow, I just hope the snow stays around long enough for Christmas. I'm almost done my shopping, but now quite!!

    How'd you do at Costco?

    TC Sweety!!!!

  • I had the time to go shopping, but I avoid stores for at least a week after Thanksgiving.

Everytime I read about snow that a lot of Xangans are experience, I am thankful that I live in Mississippi.

    Thanks for stopping by.
