After reading most everyone's site it really sounds like everybody had a wonderful Christmas. Does everyone else have oodles of candy lying around like me? We received a couple of boxes of See's Candy plus a lot of stocking's filled with all different kinds of candy. I don't think we will have to buy any candy for 6 months, (not sure it will stay good for that long, but only time will tell).
For those of you wondering about my BIL he is doing well. He has been home for a little over a week now and they have him on medication that appears to be working well. This is the best we have seen him in years. He is starting to take control of his problem, and I believe by asking for help that is the first step to the road of recovery. Thank you all for your kind words and wishes for him and his family.
We have had a couple of pretty bad storms here over the past 2 days but today, the sun is out and the sky is blue. Almost makes a person want to go outside and start weeding
, remember I said almost! Yesterday my husband and I went to the Benicia Foundry again (that is where we purchased our patio set). They were having a 60% off sale and we couldn't resist seeing if there was anything we couldn't live without. Well of course we found something ~big grin~ never see's it fail huh? Then, as it was pouring down rain we decided to stop at Sam's Club. I was shocked to see they had all spring stuff out already. Potting mix, pots, patio stuff, BBQ's everything you don't think about buying until the rain is almost over. No wonder we can never find what we want when the time comes, everyone has purchased it during the winter time! Well, we did do our damage, but only with a couple of pots for the deck and one for the family room.
Well, I'm beginning to take down Christmas today while he is at work so I better get back to business, everyone have a wonderful day.

I think I'll wait till after New Years to take stuff down. Since I missed several days in front of my tree due to the water damage, I'm going to enjoy some now.

Glad your BIL is doing better! Thank God! ! ! Sorry about the rain and the leaks. We got some rain tonight and were not even expecting it. lol. I have a frog for the New Year on my site going up in about 8 minutes, just so you know. He may not be to your liking though. lol Just so you know that too. lol Thanks for your help with the asthma, going to ask my dr. about flovent. Have a great day and a wonderful tomorrow! ! ! Had some blood work done at work and everything came back good except "Cholesterol" Got a high number on that baby! I enjoy so few things and eating is my number one enjoyment but now they are taking all the good stuff: cheese, steaks, cheese pizza. And putting me on a diet because I am fluffy and need to loose 40 pounds. Geeeeeeeze! And I have to stop smoking because I have asthma....they are giving me one year to improve all these, and you thought I was going to do it because I wanted to! Naw......but I do have to do it and with a doctors help I feel I have a chance. Now the compter is a different story....time will tell

Well, I took mine down Saturday. I just couldn't stand it anymore. Between all the feelings of pain and this stuff going on with our country, I just don't know. Too much to worry about. I wish we could box up the war like we do decorations.
