Okay, ten slashes with a wet noodle please...I'm sorry I haven't been around lately. All this stuff going on with my husband has been taking it's toll. Plus my hands have been pretty bad. If I haven't mentioned it before I have an appointment in the Neurology department on the 23rd to run tests for carpel tunnel...and then on the 27th with a specialist on hand surgery.
We meet with an investigator on Thursday from the Worker Comp insurance company (Travelers). This woman put my husband through hoops trying to catch him up. Additionally she did not like the fact that I was there and she made it known by saying so! I was told I was not to speak and just there (invisible). My husband told her that he would need to refer to me occasionally because he was not good at days, dates, etc. Which he did a lot, I'm sure just to piss her off
. This interview was to take about 45 minutes....almost an hour and a half later we were finally saying our good-byes. I'm trying to make this short but geesh I was so proud of my husband. He really gave it to her...how he did not appreciate being treated like a criminal and a liar by this claim adjuster. That she never returns phone calls, never sent the paper work in a timely manner, and the doctor that lied and said he had on solid information that he was snorkeling and scuba diving in Australia. Let me tell you, my husband is kinda afraid of the water and doesn't know how to swim. He really laid it on her.
After we got home and had been here for about 2 hours the phone rang. It was the snotty adjuster...being really really nice (totally different from every other phone call) and telling my husband that they had accepted his claim that a different adjuster would be calling him and taking care of his claim from this point forward. YEAH ! Now...we need to find out all the particular's...what they will pay, lost wages, doctors and medications while in Australia, mileage to doctors, etc. Now he has to have the surgery as soon as they can get it done so he won't have permanent nerve damage.
I'm going to paint the master bath today, sage green. We have gotten new hardware, medicine cabinet, light, faucet, etc and I want to get it finished before he has to have surgery.
Enjoy the rest of your weekend and I'll get around to everyone's site as soon as I can.

Hope everything goes well for you all. I love the color sage green.
All the very best with your appointment regarding your hands. Good on you and your hubby for "giving it" to that woman! These people,as you know, will lie and try to manipulate people into giving up on their claims. It's happened to my hubby and quite a few other people I 've known. Glad to see your outcome with all this!
I hate piss-ons who think they have power. Good for yal! Have fun painting:)

I am a firm believer that if you tell the truth nothing but good will come from it.....and see...God did listen and answered the prayers from the family and friends pulling for you guys in this particular matter....

I am so glad things have worked out with your husband. He will be laid up for quite awhile. Had same surgery 15 years ago and am glad I did. Also my thoughts and prayers are with you as you go through your hand surgery. I was there when Pepsi went through it. I know how painful it is to type. Just take care of your self and your husband.
I wish your hubby GL when he has the surgery!
And GL with the Bathroom, sounds gorgeous!!
((((Susie)))) Miss you too!!
I hate people who treat you like a criminal just because something happened to you. I guess it’s all the bad guys out there who file false claims that make it hard on those who don’t. It definitely isn’t fair at all.
I’ve been really busy lately too! I really miss not getting to read your site as often as I used to. I miss you damn it!
Wow - I am so glad you guys got treated fairly - finally.
I mean, really. It was insane before.
Glad for the turn around at the claims department. Give those people a little power and they think they're God. Hope you get the bathroom finished.
Just checking on ya.
Glad to hear it! I've missed you! See you soon.
green is my favorite color!
Clad ya stop by take care *HUGS*
